Spellbinders June Glimmer Card

Hey cardmaking friends and welcome back.  Today’s share is Spellbinders June Glimmer Card.  The glimmer of the month kit this month coordinates with the other kits and is full of paisley, and, RAINBOW Glimmer Foil.  Rainbow Glimmer Foil is crazy fun and I got busy foiling it on all kinds of colored card stock.  I messed with all those pieces for hours and in the end, I decided on a very clean and simple card. ( I like clean and simple some days).

In following my Color Choices for this month, I used the blues and blacks for this card just in a different order.  This time glimmer foiling on the Waterfall Card Stock, die cutting the images out with the coordinating die that comes in the kit, and adding the sentiment from the stamp set.

How to create the Spellbinders June Glimmer Card:

Use the Rainbow glimmer foil to foil the paisley plate twice onto Waterfall card stock.

Next, Use the coordinating die to cut out the paisley pieces.

Layout the pieces in three rows and use foam squares to attach them to a top folding A2 sized white card base.

Finally, place the card into the Misti and stamp the sentiment in black.

I considered at this point adding some gems, but decided against it.  There is plenty of glitz from the foil.

The different colors in the glimmer show up beautifully as you move the card back and forth, unfortunately, not so well in a still photo, LOL.  I have to say, the rainbow glimmer looks fabulous on colored card stock too.
