Spellbinders Small Die of the Month March

Hey crafty friends and welcome back.  Today I’m sharing Spellbinders Small Die of the Month March Kit.

I love the gorgeous springtime theme in the kits this month and today I’m sharing a cheerful die cut card.  There are 13 dies that piece together to create a gorgeous garden frame, some fun sentiments and a bouquet of floral and greenery to embellish with.

Small Die of the Month March

Look familiar?  we had a die set like this in the fall with a bunch of little leaves.  This time it’s florals, and it’s just adorable.

I cut the corner die 4 times from white hammermill card stock and cut the circles off each end.

Next, I glued them together two at a time, overlapping the center line, then glued the two pieces together along the center line to create a pretty square doily.

I sponged a bit of ink around the edge of the 3-3/4″ square mat before I attached the doily to it with foam square.

Using the single flower and leaf dies that also come in the set, along with some bright colors, I sprinkled the front of the card.

Before gluing all the flowers down, I die cut “SPRING” 3 times from the blue, layered it and added it to the card.

Next, I gold foiled “Happy” onto a scrap of white.  The word is from the Ornament Glimmer Hot Foil Holiday 2019 kit, and I attached it with foam squares

Finally, once I had everything glued into place, I used the Nuvo Crystal Drops In simply white for the flower centers.

Check out the fabulous video from Spellbinders with some fun ideas with these dies.  I also have a Pinterest Board full of more fun ideas

Happy SPRING! (almost)
