Spellbinders Stitched Card Front

Hi cardmaking friends and welcome back.  Today I have Spellbinders Stitched Card Front Border and Flower Dies to share with you as part of the May Large Die of the Month Club.

These dies are fabulous and cut so well.  It only takes a minute to pop out the little dots and then you get to some fun stitching.

The May Large Die of the Month Kit

contains 7 dies in total.  The floral die cut out and a border die to cut the A2 sized card – so you can use it just for card fronts as well.  Also included is a single flower and leaf and 3 border dies.

Of course if you are not into stitching you can simply draw the lines in with a fine tipped marker and these cards are beautiful as well.

My Spellbinders stitched card front is created with the Spellbinders Waterfall card stock.

Next I stitched it with 3 strands of DMC cotton in :  3607, 209, 3609, 744 and 3347.  I have been making a lot of green and blue cards lately, so I’m pushing myself to expand my palette, haha.

For the sentiment, I gold heat embossed one of the sentiments from this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month.  This is another great stamp set with floral border images and a lovely variety of different sentiments (seen in image 1 above).

Finally, once the card was all put together I embellished with the new Spellbinders Gold Mix – Gold Essentials Gems.  These diamond cut gems are so beautiful, we need bigger packages, hint, hint, LOL

I love this card.  It’s so bright and cheery, it looks like spring and has the perfect message for the times we are dealing with currently.

You can view all the new May clubs here and you have until the 24th to sign up to get this month’s kit.
