Hey card making friends and welcome back. I have a fun and super easy Spring Blooms Corner Card to share with you today. This new corner die is part of the Simon Says Stamp Hello Beautiful release that dropped yesterday.
This die cuts out this fabulous floral design from the corner of your cardstock. You can leave it white on white, place a piece of watercolor paper behind it, or do the inlaid die technique as I have done here today.
I started with a large piece of watercolor paper and spritzed a bunch of Nuvo Shimmer Powders all over it and let it dry.
The I cut out the different parts of the die with the colors I wanted, and inlaid the pieces into the white base I had originally cut out.
It’s a little time consuming, but not hard. The trick, is to have another piece of white glued in behind your base die cut. that way you can just pop a little glue in to add your pieces, or cover it with two sided adhesive before you glue the two pieces together.
For the Hello Sentiment, die cut the Simon Says Stamp Script Hello once from the watercolor paper and layer it to two white die cuts to add a bit of depth.
The black sentiment is the CZ Designs Sentiment Strips Reverse Love. They come printed on a card and you just cut them apart – super easy.
