Stamptember 2022

Yes it’s that time again, Stamptember 2022 has launched.  Such an exciting month in the crafting world with a huge new release from Simon Says Stamp that you have access to right now, and then almost daily releases of limited time only collaborations from all your favorite stamp companies.  It’s a super busy time of year for us crafters but it’s also very exciting to get to create with these new products.

I have two cards to share with you today created with two new items in the release, the Floral Frames Stamp set and the Pepperberry Bundle which is a stunning embossing folder die combo.

What is STAMPTEMBER?

STAMPtember® is a month-long celebration of stamping, crafting, and card making. Beginning in 2010 by Simon Says Stamp, it has grown to become our biggest and most exciting event of the year!

We recommend SimonSaysStampBlog.com. Each day at midnight ET, a new blog post will publish with the day’s exclusive set and several inspiration projects using that product. I’ve opted for fall colors for my florals today, after all it is September right.  They are stamped in intense black ink on Hammermill White Cardstock and colored with Copic Markers:

Blues:  BG10, BG15, BG57, BG09, Browns:  E31, E35, E57

This 6 x 8 Floral Frames Stamp and die set will lend itself to any season.  Beautifully appointed and super easy to color.  It only takes a few minutes to complete a stunning art piece to add to your cards.

Stamptember 2022 Card #1

Start by using the Misti to stamp the image in Intense Black onto Hammermill Cardstock.

Next, color with copic markers and then use the coordinating dies to cut out the piece.

Then, spritz the 4 x 5-1/4 white card front with water before placing it into the Pepperberry Embossing Folder and running it through the die cutting machine

Once dry, attach it to the front of a top folding white A2 card base.

Finally, place the art piece into the Misti and stamp a sentiment into the circle before attaching with foam squares to the card front.

Stamptember 2022 – Card #2

Steps are exactly the same as above, just using a different image.

Final step, add highlights to the art pieces with a Signo Uniball white gel pen.
