Hi stamping friends, hope you’re having a great week. Today’s share is Simon Says Stamp Thankful Flowers in Pink and Brown.
As I have said before, I absolutely love the Simon Says Stamp monthly card kits, mostly because you can just open them and play. For this one I kept it really simple and just used the stamp set, no patterned paper, dies etc.
How to create the Thankful Flowers In Pink and Brown Card:
Stamp the image and the sentiment on the front of an A2 Vanilla card with Gina K dye ink in Kraft. Then stamp the image again in VersaMark ink onto a piece of Canson 140# watercolor paper and black heat embossed it.
Use a few Zig Clear Color watercolor markers to color the image before cutting it out and using foam tape to attach it to the card front.
Coloring the Flowers:
For the flowers blend Pink 025 and Light Carmine #021 together and then add a bit of Beige #072 in the shadows.
Use straight Beige #072 for the leaves
The flower centers are a bit of Beige #072 and Yellow #050
Keep the embellishments super simple using the copper sequins from the Sunken Treasure Sequin mix.
A very simple card with a big punch of WOW. Take advantage of the great price discount before it sells out or Subscribe to guarantee you receive the kit each month.
