Blue pumpkins

Have become a thing for fall and I really love the color of them so I changed it up a bit from the normal orange and added a few fall leaves.

I considered blending a background but I’ve done a lot of that lately so I decided to embrace the white.  Sometimes less is more  and I like a clean card with a white background sometimes….there is something calming about it allowing your eye to just focus on the image.

To add a little interest to my art piece, I matted it with a new slimline die I just received, this is the Slimline Scallops and Banners from Trinity Stamps,  Not only does it have scallops, it has a stitched inside boarder as well for additional interest to your cards.

The added real estate on a slimline line card allows me to add this long sentiment beside my art piece instead of above or below, and I colored it with two of the blue markers I used on the pumpkin to ensure it coordinated.
