Hi Stamping friends and welcome back. I’m excited to share Another Turnabout card with you and my excitement in being invited to join the awesome Scrap ‘N Stamp Design Team. I’m looking forward to working with Raya and the team at Scrap ‘N Stamp and giving a Canadian Business a little love too.
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Sandi MacIver. I live in Drayton Valley Alberta Canada with my husband Ian and our two corgis Oscar and Lucy. I have been a crafter all my life and a paper crafter for the past 30 years. I was a Stampin Up Demonstator for 10 years, 7 in Portland Oregon USA and 3 back here in Canada before resigning in December.
I’m still stamping and sharing, but now I’m using everyone’s stamps. I share my love of stamping here on my blog www.sandimaciver.com on my YouTube Channel, on my Business Facebook page and my Instagram page as well as a HUGE board over on Pinterest.
If I had to describe my style, I think most of the time it’s clean and simple, but I also love to get inky fingers, try new techniques and some days, just make a creative mess, I’m sure you can all relate haha. I love to color, and watercolor and my passion is flowers as I’m also an avid gardener.

Today I have Another Turnabout to share with you.
I’m using the same Polka Dot Turnabout as I shared last week here, but this time, I only turned it twice, and on the second turn, I embossed the dots.
I love how with only two turns I created this beautiful and simple random dot background for my card. In addition, I used the Banners and Blooms Stamp Set again for my flowers but this time I stayed with the cooler colors.
However, this time I also used the other banner from the set to create a sweet birthday card. There are a few individual stamps in this set and I decided to do some tone on tone stamping with them to create “wallpaper” for the right side of my card to contrast with the Polka Dots background on the left.
To pull the elements together, I matted the art piece with gold card stock (I know it looks black in the picture but it’s gold).
