Hey crafting friends. Welcome back and I hope you are enjoying your long weekend. I snuck in a little time to create Christmas Card #7 with the Simon Says Stamp Large Falling Snow Stencil. This stencil is another new release during STAMPTEMBER.
I love the denseness of the dot arrangement and how it goes from fine to BLIZZARD! This will quickly become your “Go To” background stencil for winter themed cards.
Products used in today’s care are listed at the end of this post for you.
Before we get into the card for today, a couple of things for you:
Today is the last day of many of the Labor Day sales, so head over to my Crafty Sales Page and stock up with some great Discounts:

Ok, let’s dig into the card shall we.
This Large Falling Snow Stencil is 6 x 9 inches so it’s perfect for regular A2 cards and the Slimline Cards as well. Yeah! because I love making Slimline Cards.
Cutting instructions for today’s card can be found over on my “How to Make a Slimline Card Page”.
How to create the Simon Says Stamp Large Falling Snow Stencil Card:
Cut a piece of Neenah Solar White 80# at 3 x 8 and blend with Distress Oxides Broken China, Peacock Feather and Blueprint Sketch
Place the Stencil over the piece and use a palette knife to add a thin layer of Nuvo Crackle Mouse – Russian White.
While the mousse is drying, Cut the mat at 3-1/4 x 8-1/4 from the Silver Glitter Paper
Die cut the falala sentiment from the center of the mat and then cut the shadow for the sentiment from another piece of Neenah Solar White.
Die cut 5 Grace Snowflakes from the silver glitter paper.
Use White glue to attach the sentiment and the snowflakes to the card front and then place something heavy over them until the glue dries.
Flip over and trim the snowflakes flush and then add Foam tape to the back.
Use White glue to attach the silver glitter mat to the top folding card base.
Add the art piece to the center.
Embellish with the large sequins from the Rainbow Party Sequins
Add a large Rhinestone to the center of each snowflake.
This is the Simon Says Stamp Large Falling Snow Stencil. It’s been extremely popular and is current out of stock, but click on the image, then click on “notify me when back in stock”, and Simon will notify you when it’s back in so you can get one.
For the Slimline Card pieces, if you don’t want to cut your own, the Stamptember release also came out with two new Slimline Card Die Sets. One with a Marquee boarder that would look fabulous with this card and one with Scalloped edges. Both sets are in stock. I have them both coming so I’ll be sharing more cards made with them very soon.
I forgot to announce the winner from the Blog Hop on the 2nd. Random Org. picked Anne Maier. Anne wins the Leafy Branch Die
