Hi cardmaking friends. Today I’m sharing Picket Fence Studios Nativity Scene Cards.
I’ve added to my Christmas card stash again this past week. I’m determined to have them made by November – how are you doing on yours?
The Nativity Slim Line Die is part of Picket Fence Studios Slim Line Die Cutting System, and it can also be used on A2 sized cards so I’m sharing one of each today.
These cards are fast and easy to create and would be excellent for mass producing your Christmas Cards
Picket Fence Studios Nativity Scene Cards – Slimline Card:
Let’s start with the Slimline Card.
Get more information about Slimline Cards <<<<here
Cut the card front with the Slim Line Nested Rectangles dies.
Next use the Slimline Scallop Framed Dies – the inlaid die: cut out the inlaid space, and cut the inlaid silver piece for the border.
I have a video on how to do the Inlaid piece here
Cut the Nativity Silhouette Scene from the center top of the inside piece.
Add a scrap of white card behind the Silhouette die cut that has been ink blended in Distress Oxide Inks: Squeezed Lemonade and Wilted Violet.
Finally, use a gel pen to add stars in the sky.
Completing the Card:
Attach the two Blue Violet pieces to a white card base that measures 3-1/2 x 8-1/2″.
Use the Bearly Art glue to Insert the Silver border
Next, use the mini alphabet dies from the Chandelier Slim Line Die Cut to create the sentiment. *
- this was fun, but a little time consuming. If you are going to mass produce this card, consider a heat embossed sentiment.
Finally, die cut the silver star and add it to the top of the roof, with a Sands of Time Gem in the center.

Picket Fence Studios Nativity Scene Cards – A2 Card
As I previously stated, this die also fits perfectly on an A2 sized card.
Follow the above instructions for this card except start with a piece of SImon Says Stamp Blue Violet cardstock measuring 4 x 5-1/4
Use a larger sentiment to balance out the card, this one is from the Joyeux Noel stamp set and is silver embossed under the silhouette.
Finally, mount the piece to a top folding white, A2 sized card base.
Both of these cards are flat enough to mail without additional postage.
