Spellbinders Christmas Blooms

Hi paper crafting friends, hope you are doing well.  Today I have a NEW VIDEO for you – Spellbinders Christmas Blooms Die Cut Cards.    In today’s cardmaking video I create two cards with some new dies and glimmer plates from Spellbinders.

I did my cards in blue, gold, and white just because I love those colors together, but they would look great in any holiday colors you choose.

The new family of paper crafting dies are very versatile and super easy to work with.  I can see using these for many occasions throughout the year just by changing out the sentiment.

 

Spellbinders Christmas Blooms Card #1

Use the die cut Christmas Blooms to decorate the fronts of your beautiful holiday cards.

Start by Glimmer Foiling the Pinstripe Bracket Card Builder Main plate into the Waterfall card stock to create the card front

Next, Glimmer foil the two strip banner on white card and cut it out with the coordinating die.

Layer the white border piece over the main pinstripe piece and trim to 4 x 5-1/4 to create the card front

Die cut the Christmas Blooms and attach them with Bearly Art Glue

Finally, Die cut the sentiment using the Christmas Sentiments Dies from the July Tis the Season Collection release from Spellbinders.

Creating Card #2

Dry emboss the card front with the Spellbinders Simply Perfect Florals Embossing Folder

Die cut a selection of foliage using the Spellbinders Christmas Blooms Die set

Next, Use the Bearly Glue to attach the foliage creating a wreath in the center of the card front.

Finally, glimmer hot foil a sentiment using Yana’s Christmas Sentiments Glimmer Foil set.

 

The embossed background creates added interest behind your wreath and adds detail and dimension to your card without weight.
