Spellbinders September Glimmer Kit

Hi cardmaking friends and welcome back. Today I have a new card share created with the Spellbinders September Glimmer Kit. This new kit is called Glimmering Build a Banner and it’s so very cool. You glimmer foil the sentiments and the striped background pieces separately, and then die cut them out.

So, no lining up the foil (which I absolutely hate doing), LOL….

How to create the Spellbinders September Glimmer Kit Card:

Start by using the Polished Brass Glimmer Foil that came in this month’s kit, as it’s my very favorite.

Glimmer all the sentiments on one piece of white cardstock

Glimmer foil the background striped pieces on a second piece of white cardstock.

I cut my cardstock to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 to make them small enough to work with easily

Next, use the coordinating dies to cut all the pieces out and glue the tips together with the Bearly Art Glue.

Cut a card front at 4 x 5-1/4″, place inside the Falling Leaves Embossing Folder and run through the die cut machine.

Cut a piece of gray at 4-1/2 x 5-1/2 and attach it to the front of a top folding A2 sized card base.

Next, use foam squares to attach the glimmer foiled banner to the center of the card.

Use the September Large Die of the Month Kit, “Just a Tweet” dies to cut flowers and leaves to add to the card.

Finally, embellish with the NEW GREEN Color Essentials gems (they come in purple, teal and red too). swoon!

The glimmer foil as so much elegance to the card you really don’t need to add much more.
