Ok, speaking of new.  Simon has entered the Glimmer Foil camp and there is a new plate out this month.  I’m excited for this as I LOVE to glimmer foil.

The Thank You Hot Foil Plate.

This new Thank You Hot Foil Plate is huge, my watercolor center panel is cut to 4 x 4 allowing room to glimmer foil that beautiful thank you (love the font.

I layered it with some of Simon’s NEW Matte Gold Cardstock and cut out some Harmony Snowflakes to further embellish.

This is a finished size of 5-1/2 square card.

It also looks quite lovely in green.

For the backgrounds:

I used sprays:  Distress Oxides Picked Raspberry and Kitsch Flamingo along with Dylusions Cherry Pie and Bubblegum Pink for the pink card.

For the green card:  Distress Oxides:  Peeled Paint, Salvaged Patina and Iced Spruce along with Dylusions Cut Grass.

Visit my How to use the Glimmer Hot Foil Machine page for more information on Foiling.

GLITZ GLITTER GEL

Next up we have the New Layered Holiday Stencils and some glammy new Glitz Glitter Gel in some fabulous colors.  I did my best Andy Warhol imitation on these cards, LOL

The new Mini Rainbow Glitz Glitter Gel pack combines 6 rainbow colors.

Use the grid stencil to add color to each of the squares.  I used some post it tape to mask off each square

Next, place the other stencil over the first grid, and use a palette knife to add the Glitz Glitter Gel.

Let it dry and then snip down the squares.  You can get two cards out of one plate.

For added interest, use an embossed background.  I used the Kaleidoscope embossing folder on both my cards.

Night Before Christmas Stamp from the Handmade Holiday Release

Finally, we have the Night Before Christmas Stamp.  This stamp is huge.  my card is 5 x 7.  I started with a sprayed background using:  Dylusions:  London Blue, After Midnight, Poisoned Jade, Campoo Teal and Cut Grass.

Over that, I gold embossed Santa and the reindeer leaving, pretending that the moon was shining off them.

Below that, I black heat embossed the silhouette of the town.  All of these stamps are included in this huge solid image stamp.
