Hey cardmaking friends, welcome back. Today I have a pretty little sneak peek for you for this months Hero Arts MMH Countdown. This month the My Monthly Hero Kit will go live on Tuesday Sept 6th due to the Labor Day Holiday this weekend. That gives you one extra day to check out all the sneak peeks from the design teams. Also this month, the Global Design team is joining the Regular team for the release so there will be twice as many inspiration ideas for you.
The kit is beautiful this month and the add ons are fabulous as well, I can’t wait to share all my cards with you on Tuesday, but for today, here’s my favorite created with the kit.

Hero Arts MMH Countdown Card Instructions:
My color inspiration came from the sheet that is included in the kit. The lovely Sand and Plum colors. Also, there is Sand and Vanilla cardstock in this months kit, and I try and use as much as I can from the kits for my inspiration cards.
Start by stamping the main floral image with Embossing and Watercolor ink onto a piece of Plum cardstock.
Next, cut it out with the coordinating frame cuts.
Creating the background:
Next, place a A2 sized Sand card base into the Misti and stamp it with the Background Bold Prints Stamp and the embossing ink. Set aside to dry
Then, on a separate 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 piece of Sand cardstock, stamp the background stamp again with the embossing ink. Cover with gold embossing powder, shake off the excess and heat set.
Finally, cut a 1-1/4″ piece off and attach it to the bottom front of the card base.
Hero Arts MMH Countdown Card – Putting it all together.
Stamp the sentiment in embossing ink onto a scrap of the Sand cardstock and gold heat emboss it.
Add foam squares to the back of the art piece and attach it to the center of the card
Then, attach the sentiment to the center of it.

Gold embossing on the plum card stock is so elegant , as is the card. Sand and plum are a great combination
Thank you Linda. Heat embossing was the first thing I learned how to do so many years ago, and I still love it

You were quick off the mark! Plum and gold go so well together and this is such a pretty vintage style card Sandi.
