Hi cardmaking friends. I’m so excited to share with you this evening my Simon Says Stamp FIddly leaf Christmas Cards. The new Cozy Hugs release is live right now and part of this new release is this lovely Fiddly Leaf Die and the Reverse Christmas Wishes printed sentiments. Of course the Fiddly Leaf die will work for all seasons but I’m trying hard to get all my Christmas Cards finished so I can get them in the mail on time this year, I’m always late, haha.
Check out the amazing Cozy Hugs Release HERE, there are so many fun new products to create with.
Ok, on to my cards for this evening. As with most of my Christmas Cards, these are pretty clean and simple. (I hate paying extra postage, LOL). I did a detailed card front and then Ink Smooshed Watercolor Paper with Distress Oxide Inks in Mowed Lawn and Uncharted Mariner.
Next, I cut out the Fiddly Leaf to create my images.
Simon Says Stamp Fiddly Leaf Christmas Cards #1
Start by placing the 4-1/4 x 5-1/4 white card front into the NEW Floral Festoon Embossing Folder and running it through the die cutting machine.
Next, attach it to a top folding A2 sized white card base.
Then, Cut the Fiddly Leaf die 5 times from the Ink Smooshed watercolor paper and glue them to the card front in a wreath.
Finally, add a sentiment from the Reverse Christmas Wishes printed sentiments, also new this month.
Then, Embellish with Simon’s Frosty Pine Sequin Mix.
Simon Says Stamp Fiddly Leaf Christmas Cards #2
The steps for the second card are almost identical to the first with the exception of the card front.
Start by securing the Floating Leaves Stencil to the 4-1/4 x 5-1/4 white card front.
Next, add white Embossing Paste through the stencil. Remove and clean and let dry.
Then, cut the Fiddly Leaf die 4 times to create the wreath bundle before adding a sentiment over it.
Finally, embellish with Simon’s Frosty Pine Sequin Mix.
Now it’s time to check out the entire COZY HUGS RELEASE which you can see here.
