Hi card making friends and welcome back. Today’s card share is Spellbinders December Clear Stamp Set of the Month Kit card. There are lots of images in this month’s kit. Easy to color, or as I did, to white heat emboss onto an Ombre Ink Blend in soft pinks. Yes, my color palette continues to my 5th and final card for this months kits. I’m loving this soft pink palette using Distress Oxide Inks in Worn Lipstick, Kitsch Flamingo and Spun Sugar. Maybe because I’m a little tired of Christmas cards, haha, who knows.

Today’s card is a Mini Slimline Card and I combined 3 of this month’s kits. The Embossing Folder Heart Blooms and the little flowers are die cuts from the Small Die of the month kit, Stitched Heart Card Front.
How to create the Spellbinders December Clear Stamp of the Month Kit Card:
Start by ink blending Distress Oxide Inks in Worn Lipstick, Kitsch Flamingo and Spun Sugar onto two pieces of 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ hammermill white card stock.
Next, use the Misti to Stamp the letters in VersaMark Ink, cover with white embossing powder, shake off the excess and heat set.
Then, die cut the letters out with the coordinating dies. Cut a second set of letters out of the second piece to act as the shadows behind the first.
Finally, use the Precision Layering Mini Slimline B die sets to cut a card front out of white cardstock and a second one slightly larger for a mat.
Creating the Card Base for the Spellbinders December Clear Stamp Set Card:
Next, ink blend the mat with Kitsch Flamingo so that it matches perfectly with the colors in the letters.
Then, place the smaller white panel inside the Heart Blooms embossing folder and run through the die cutting machine.
Finally, layer these two together and attach to the White card base. 7″ x 6-1/2″, scored and folded at 3-1/2″
Glue the shadows to the letters, offsetting them slightly to the left and then use foam squares to attach to the left side of the card.
Finally, die cut the flowers from left over pieces of the ombre ink blended cardstock and attach to the top right corner.
