Hey card making friends, welcome back. I’m excited for day two of the new Anita Jeram Release and so happy to share Colorado Craft Company SUMMER GARDEN Card and FREE SHIPPING DAYS. They are offering FREE SHIPPING for all USA orders, and flat $10. shipping internationally, today and tomorrow, (March 18 and 19). So pick your favorites from the new release, or save some $ and grab the New RELEASE BUNDLE and get it all.
Today’s Colorado Craft Company Summer Garden Card is created with the fabulous new Background Stamp from this months release, SUMMER GARDEN. This takes all the sweet new images and combines them into one large stamp. Great for backgrounds, or color the entire thing and make it the star of your card.
Don’t forget to hop over (pun intended, LOL) to THIS POST and leave a comment for a chance to win one of this month’s GIVE AWAYS (see below).
PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure.
I colored my card front today with copic markers and I have them listed below. You could also use colored pencils, watercolors, what ever medium you feel like creating with to color these cute images.
Colorado Craft Company Summer Garden Card:
Start by placing a piece of Hammermill White cardstock 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ into the Misti and stamping the background stamp. I used Gina K Amalgam Ink as it’s copic friendly.
Then, pick which section you would like to color and cut it down to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, (Or use a die to cut it out). This way you are not wasting ink coloring what you might not use.
Finally, color the images with Copic markers:
Copic Markers Used:
Gray N0, N1, Oranges: Y15, Y17, Y38, Greens: YG21, YG23, YG17, Pinks: R20 ( ears, cheek and nose) Purples: V12, V17 Reds: R20, R35, Browns: E31, E33, E34 and for the background I used B00.
Adding the Sentiment:
White heat emboss the sentiment from the Garden Therapy Stamp Set onto a scrap of Black Cardstock.
Next, mount the colored card front to a top folding A2 sized white card base (4-1/4″ x 11″ – scored and folded at 5-1/2″).
Then, use foam squares to attach the sentiment to the center right of the card.
PRO-TIP – it’s also fun to stamp and color the back flap on your envelope, to match the card front, giving the recipient a little sneak peek at what’s inside.
You can view the entire new release here.

This is such a sweet card with all those wonderfully cute images. Love the background Sandi.
The cutest of cards, beautifully coloured too Sandi. I love that the background stamp makes this so much easier than lining all the stamps up and creating it that way. Super sweet release from CCC.
Thanks Lisa, I agree, this background stamp is perfection.
