Hi card making friends and welcome back. Today I have a Spellbinders Stitched Fanfare card to share with you. This is the April Stitched Die of the month Kit and it was fabulous fun to put together. The hardest part about this kit is trying to figure out what colors to use. I’m trying hard to not use blue and green on everything and stretch my palette. So today I settled for a Bohemian vibe of green, rose, gold with a hint of black created from the new Wildflower Assorted Cardstock Mix. I hope you like it.
You have until the 27th to sign up for this months Spellbinders clubs (unless they are already sold out), then sign up starts again on the 6th of May

One of the very cool things about this die set, is once you stack it, you can see these great peacock tail layered accents through the white overlay. I thought that was a really unique and fun detail about these dies.
The pieces for today’s card are super easy to cut out and all included in the kit, along with the “for you” sentiment. I stitched all the pieces with White DMC cotton to coordinate with the sentiment piece and the background which I also embossed with this months Embossing Folder Club “Seamless Floral Background”.
Spellbinders Products Used for today’s card:
- April Stitched Die of the Month
- Seamless Floral Background Embossing Folder
- Wildflower Assorted Cardstock Pack
- Black Cardstock
- White Cardstock
- Onyx Color Essential Gems
- Mini Blooms & Sprigs Die Set
How to create the Spellbinders Stitched Fanfare card:
Start by die cutting all the stitching pieces. You need two of each size and color. I used Spellbinders cardstock in Velvet Rose, Tuscan, Sage and Black. From the new Wildflower Assorted Cardstock Pack released this month.
Next, stitch all the pieces and then glue them together so that the peacock tail peek through lines up.
Then, cut out the center sentiment piece from white and the sentiment letters from black. Glue them together and then glue the stitched stacks at each end.
PRO-TIP – support the raised center piece with two layers of foam tape on the back.
Create the Card Base:
Start with a A2 sized white card base, 4-1/4 ” x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″.
Next, cut a card front 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, place inside the Seamless Floral Background Embossing Folder and run through the Platinum 6 die cutting machine.
Then, attach to the card front.
Finally, use foam squares to attach the art piece to the center of the card
Embellish with small flowers cut from the card stock scraps with Spellbinders Mini Blooms & Sprigs Die Set and Color Essential Gems in Onyx.
