Hello card making friends. Yeah, New Month, and that means NEW Spellbinders AUGUST CLUBS! Woo hoo, my favorite time of the month. Todays card is created with the Clear Stamp and Die Set of the Month, the Happy Hello Floral. The exquisite embossed background comes from the New Embossing Folder Of the Month Club Arches and Dots.

The new Happy Hello Floral has a large floral arrangement, great for an A2 or A5 card size. The coordinating die set has 7 dies in total. Two cut out the left and right sides of the florals and five for the sentiments. I decided on Pink and Black for some Bold color drama today, hope you like it.
How to create the Spellbinders Happy Hello Floral Card:
Start by gold heat embossing the floral image onto hammermill white card stock.
Next, Color with Copic Markers and cut out the two sides with the coordinating dies.
COPIC MARKERS USED:
Pinks: R20, R21, R22, Greens: G21, G24, G28 (all are linked below in the thumbnails)
Next, Emboss a piece of Pink Sand cardstock 4-1/4 x 5-1/2″ with the Arches and Dots Embossing Folder. Lay the art piece over this embossed piece without attaching it, and use the art piece as a guide, to cut the embossed piece slightly larger than the art piece. This provides a pink matt layer to the right of the art piece, cuts off the right side of the pink embossed piece exposing the black card front.
Then, created a side folding A2 sized black card base. attach the pink embossed panel to the front, and then the art piece. Trim off any overhang.
Finally, tie twine around the left side, finishing with a bow near the top and add a gold embossed sentiment.
Embellish the flower centers and around the sentiment with Color Essential Gems in Onyx black for that little Pop of WOW!
Spellbinders Happy Hello Floral Card – Embossed background panel:
The beautiful Arches and Dots design in this Month’s Embossing Folder Club, creates the perfect “background noise” for todays card. It’s soft and subtle without being too busy.

I am back looking at your card again. The centers of the flowers look so neat with the gems grouped together. Is the gem in the very center raised up?
Hi Linda, the one in the center is just a bigger gem, then I went a bit smaller around the outside of it
Thanks for letting me know.
