Hi card making friends, and welcome back. I’m sharing my last two cards for Feb. Clubs. This is the Spellbinders Stencil of the Month Club. This is a new club that was just added and as a stencil lover, I’m stoked. Stencils make such fun backgrounds and they are so easy. I have two techniques to share with you today. The first one is a ink blended rainbow background. The second uses Nuvo Glacier Paste through the stencil.

Exclusive Stencil club that coordinate with the other Spellbinders Clubs. Sizes and stencil type will vary each month. You can create gorgeous projects and spectacular backgrounds using stencils. Join the Stencil of the Month Club.
There are 4 stencils in the kit this month all with a floral design. I’m using two of them for my share today.
How to create the Spellbinders Stencil of the Month Club Card:
Start by securing the stencil over a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of white cardstock and then blending a rainbow of ink through it.
Ink used: Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks: Bubblegum, Lemonade, Sprout, Seafoam, and Violet.
Next, attach the card front to a top folding A2 sized white card base (4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″).
Then, using circle dies, cut a circle from Waterfall cardstock that fits the size of the circle left from the stencil.
Finally, Stamp color and cut out the bunny, chick and egg using Simon Hurley’s Easter Bunny Stamp and Die Set. Add a sentiment white embossed on a scrap of black cardstock.
Copic Colors Used:
Gray: N1, N3, N5 Turquoise: BG11, BG13, BG49, Pinks: RV10, RV21, RV13, RV14, Yellows: Y11, Y15, Y17, Oranges: Y19, Y38, YR04, Blues: B12, B24, B26, Greens: YG03, YG17.
PS – I kind of wish I had put glitter paste over the rainbow before I removed the stencil to really make it sparkle, oh well, next time!
How to create the Spellbinders Stencil of the Month Club Card #2
Start with a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of white cardstock. Secure the stencil over it and using Nuvo Glacier Paste in Sea Sprite and a palette knife, cover in the stencil. Set piece aside to dry for at least 30 minutes.
When dry, attach to a top folding A2 sized white card base (measurements above).
PRO-TIP – remove the paste from the palette knife and stencil immediately.
Next, use circle dies to cut a circle for the center of the card.
Then, stamp color and cut out the bunny, butterflies and sentiment from the Simon Hurley Easter Bunny Stamp and Die Set.
