Alex Syberia Designs February 2025 Release Blog Hop and Giveaway Penguin Love – Card #1
products used:
Penguin Love Stamp and Die Set
Heart Garland Cover Die
Endless Hearts Die
Love and XOXO Die Set
Start by die cutting the Heart Garland Cover Die from pink cardstock, and then from teal as well. Place scotch tape over the back of the pink die cut to allow you to inlay all the blue hearts.
Next, stamp color and cut out the penguin. I Used Copic Markers:
- Penguin: C00, C1, C2,C4, C7, C8,C10, for the shadow on the white I used Co-C1.
- Pot: BG11, BG13, Flowers: R81, RV13, and Y15 for the beak and feet
Then, die cut the Endless Hearts Die, and use the largest to create a frame on the center of the card front.
Die cut LOVE in Black and highlight with a white #10 gel pen before attaching the letters to the card with foam pieces.
Finally, add the penguin, and overlay a smaller sentiment over the word LOVE.
Embellish the roses with pink rhinestones.
Alex Syberia Designs February 2025 Release Blog Hop and Giveaway Penguin Love – Card #2
Start by using the Postage Stamps Cover Die and Stencil to create the A2 base for the front of the card. Ink blend Seafoam and Ocean Simon Says Stamp Ink into each square for the background. Attach it to a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of teal cardstock and then attach it to a top folding A2 sized white card base.
Next, on copic friendly white cardstock (I use hammermill), stamp the penguins and embellishments in Gina K Amalgam Ink (copic friendly), heat set with a heat tool and then color the images with copic markers.
Same copics as above with these additions:
Shadows on the white part of the penguins are done in E000 and E00
Cheeks are done in R21 and R22
Flowers: R81, RV13, RV14
Add highlights with a #10 white gel pen.
Then, die cut the images and dry fit them to the card front inside a Misti. Use the Postage Stamps Special Delivery Stamp Set to add some postage highlights. Then use foam squares to permanently attach the images to the card.
Now it’s time to hop and visit the rest of the design team to see their inspiration shares. Don’t forget to leave a comment at each stop along the way for your chance to win a prize.
Here’s today’s Cardmaking and release video walking you through all the new products released and lots of card inspiration from the design team.
