While I used almost the same products on my two cards today, they could not be more different. One is dark and mysterious, the other, colorful and fun. I wanted to show you just how versatile these products can be.
Alex Syberia Designs April Release Blog Hop and Give Away Card #1
Start by using the NEW Glowing Geometry Hot Foil Plate and foil in Polished Brass Foil onto black cardstock to create the card front.
Next, repeat with the Gorgeous Peonies Hot Foil Plate and then cut out the florals with the coordinating dies.
Cut a circle from Matte Gold cardstock and attach to the center of the card front. Also cut the word SPARKLE from the New Bright & Bubbly Die Set in gold, and twice in black to stack.
Finally, use foam squares to attach the gold circle and then the black foiled foliage. Use liquid glue to attach the sentiment underneath.
Alex Syberia Designs April Release Blog Hop and Give Away Card #2
Start by placing the NEW Pureland Fan Stencil over the card front and adding White Paper Glaze through it not covering the entire surface.
Next, once the paper glaze is dry, splatter with black ink.
Then, white heat emboss the Gorgeous Peonies Stamp Set onto watercolor paper.
Finally, use Gansai Tambi watercolors to paint the florals. When Dry, cut them out with the coordinating dies and attach to the card front.
Then, die cut the Hello 3 times from black, stack together and glue to the bottom of the card.
