Altenew Graceful Gardenias Project Kit

Hi card making friends and welcome back. Yesterday was  the January RELEASE DAY at Altenew and today I’m highlighting the beautiful Altenew Graceful Gardenias Project Kit.

See the ENTIRE NEW RELEASE HERE.  Also visit yesterday’s post for some card inspiration using some of the new products.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure.

Graceful Gardenias Project Kit from Altenew

This Craft Your Life Monthly Subscription Plan has it all.  It has a 6 x 8 stamp set, a coordinating stencil set, matching dies and a coordinating embossing Folder. If I had more time I’m sure I could have easily created more than the three cards I’m sharing with you today.

If your not into subscription Plans, you can head over to Simon Says Stamp where they are also selling this bundle

The flowers in this set are huge, and actually hard to get both onto a A2 sized card, so be prepared to do a little trimming, LOL.  Here are the three cards I’m sharing today, and I give a detailed breakdown of each below.

Altenew Graceful Gardenias Project Kit – Card One.

Start, by stamping the floral images into white cardstock.  Then use the Simply Coloring Stencil Set to add color to the images using the Mini ink blending brushes.

Next, use the coordinating dies to cut out the two images.

Then, create a A2 White top folding card base, 4-1/4″ x 11, score and fold at 5-1/2″.

Finally, attach the florals with foam tape to add dimension.  Mix some gold metallic ink from the Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan set and splatter the entire front of the card.

White heat emboss a sentiment onto a scrap of black cardstock and attach.

Altenew Graceful Gardenias Project Kit – Card #2

Start with the same two steps as above to create the large floral and die cut it out.

Next, cut a pink card front 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, and using the darker of the pink inks, randomly stamp the outline image all over the card front.  Attach it to a top folding A2 sized white card base.

Then, use foam squares to attach the floral and trim off any overhang.  Again, Splatter with the gold paint from the Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan set.

Finally, white heat emboss a sentiment onto black cardstock and attach.

Next, place the card front into the Graceful Gardenias 3D Embossing Folder and run through the die cutting machine

Then, gently pull a white pigment ink pad over the raised areas to highlight them.

Finally, attach to a top folding A2 sized white card base and and a white heat embossed sentiment.

  1. You have outdone yourself in show casing Altenew’s products! Every card is just as beautiful as the next! Breathtaking! I love how the florals overlap each other on your first card.
