Altenew Watercolor Flowers Stenciled Cards

Hi card making friends and welcome back.  I have two new cards to share with you today created with the Altenew Playful Watercolor Flowers Stencil Cards Set.  The set this month contains images to create two separate floral designs.  I LOVE these stencils for making quick, easy, and beautiful floral cards to send to my friends.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure.

Altenew Playful Watercolor Flowers

You will note from the cards below, there are two layering stencils in the set that create two absolutely stunning florals for your card fronts.  I’m over the moon for this set.  The set went live this morning on the Altenew site, but get them soon as they are very popular.

Altenew Watercolor Flowers Stenciled Cards

I really enjoyed creating these cards.  I used Altenew Inks and their MINI Blending Brushes (my new favorites) to do the stenciling.
Pinks:  Frosted Pink/Pink Pearl/Coral Berry  Green:  Frayed Leaf/Forest Glade, Sage Green:  Silver Sage/Eucalyptus, and Buttercream for the flower centers.

How to create the Altenew Watercolor Flowers Stenciled Cards #1

Starting with the #1 stencil, add the lightest colors of pink and green, and work your way through the stencils adding the overlaying colors.

Next, add the colors to the flower centers.

Then, attach the 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ card front to a top folding A2 sized white card base.

Finally, use the New, One Go – Lovely Sentiments Stamp and Die set to white heat emboss the sentiment.

Embellish with the New Altenew Forest Trail Enamel Dots.

How to create the Altenew Watercolor Flowers Stenciled Cards #2

Start with the same steps as card #1 using the second set of layering stencils, to create the second floral image.

Next, take the first stencil from this set and the lightest pink ink, and add the image around the white space on the card front.  This gives it some pretty “background noise”.

Then, once you have attached the card front to the A2 top folding white card base, cut out the Outline Love You Die, 3 times.  Stack them and attach to the center of the card.

Finally, add another sentiment from the One Go Lovely Sentiments Stamp and Die Set.  Embellish with the New Altenew Wood Warbler Enamel Dots.
