Cherry Blossom Die Cut Cards

Hi card making friends and welcome back. Today’s new Card Making Video has Cherry Blossom Die Cut Cards using new card making products from Spellbinders. The release is called Fluer Bouquet Slimline Collection By Becca Feeken and has a beautiful selection of slimline and mini slimline card front panels along with a FABULOUS selection of new floral dies. I can’t wait to share what I created with them.

Cherry Blossom Die Cut Cards #1

Firstly, Use the Sweet Leaf Mini Slimline plate to cut the card front from Waterfall card and mount it to a top folding mini slimline card. (3-1/2 x 6-1/2).

Next, cut the florals and stems with the Layered Cherry Blossoms die set from white cardstock.

Thirdly, use a Waffle Flower Shader Stencil Brush to add Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink to the center and tips of the flowers.

Additionally, add the the flower pieces to the die cut branch.

Finally, use the Yana’s Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Set to create the sentiments for both cards.

Card #2

First, switch the layout of the second card to portrait and add the die cut florals down the left side of the card.

Secondly, add the Fluted Classic Circles die behind the sentiment to help profile it more.

Next, add a light peach card front behind the Leaf Mini Slimline Die cut. This will focus the eye on the beautiful Leaf design behind the florals.

Finally, use Gold Essential Gems to embellish both cards.
