The DieCember Elegant Ornament Die is so beautiful and so versatile. There are three large layering dies to create the ornament itself, and then two additional small ones, the (gold) hanger at the top and the circle in the center. I have cut these out in a variety of different colors and they are all stunning.
How to create the DieCember Elegant Ornament Card.
Start with a piece of white cardstock 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, spritz both sides with water and then place inside the Rhythmic Waves embossing folder and run through the die cutting machine. Once the piece is dry, attach it to a top folding A2 sized white card base. 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″
Next, die cut the ornament. I cut the main piece in Pink Sand (spellbinders) and the overlay and background pieces from white glimmer paper. Before attaching, ink blend the pink piece with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink. Cut the hanger from gold glimmer paper and glue over the white piece.
Then, die cut the foliage using the Berry Stems Die set from a previous Simon Says Stamp release. I cut mine in lime green and mint and then ink blended a bit of Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide Ink on them. Die cut the berry stems from Desert Storm cardstock and ink blend with Gathering Twigs Distress Oxide. Cut the berries from Pink Sand card stock and attach to the stems. Ink blend more Picked Raspberry ink to the bottom of the berries and add small dots with the E35 Copic Marker.
DieCember Elegant Ornament – Putting it together:
Start by gluing down the green foliage at the top of the card.
Next, add the mint foliage using foam squares to raise them slightly. Then add the berries with white glue.
Then, Add the ornament again using foam squares. Create a bow with some gold thread and glue on. Embellish with gold gems.
Finally, gold heat emboss a sentiment from the Making Spirits Bright stamp set, trim and attach to the bottom of the card.
That’s it, I hope you enjoyed today’s card.
Give Away #2 I will be picking a name from comments left today and the winner will get this card in the mail.
Now it’s time to hop and see the makes from the rest of the team. You may have come from Kulbir’s blog and next up is Lea Lawson. If you get lost along the way, I have added all the links below.

Beautiful card! You have inspired me to branch out and use pink raspberry on my card. Love this!
haha, YEAH, converted another stamper, LOL. Do it over already pink cardstock, it cuts down on the work, but you still get a beautiful blend.
