Spellbinders December 2023 Clubs

Hi card making friends and welcome back.  It’s the 6th of the month and that means NEW Spellbinders December 2023 Clubs.  I have 3 cards to share with you today, created with a bunch of the new club items for December.

The 3D Embossing Folder for this month, is very cool.  It has two images on it and when embossed, they create two different A2 sized card fronts.

The theme this month is Love – so I decided to go with pinks/whites and blacks for some pretty Valentine’s cards.  It’s a nice little break from the BILLIONS of Christmas cards I have been making, haha (Ok, it seems like billions, but probably only a couple hundred, LOL).

How to Create the Spellbinders December 2023 Clubs – Heart Cards

Start with two pieces of Pink Sand card stock cut at 4 x 5-1/2″.  Spritz with water on both sides, place inside the 3D embossing Folder Two Hearts as One and run through the Platinum 6.

Next, lay each on a protected work surface and ink blend some pink ink around each one to highlight the embossing.  Then, when the pink ink is dry, lightly rub a white pigment ink pad across the embossed areas to highlight them

INK USED:
Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks:  Bubblegum/Sweets/Taffy

Then, attach to a top folding A2 sized white card base.

Finally, gold heat emboss the sentiments from this months Clear Stamp and Die Club Kit Big Love, trim and attach with foam squares.

Has a beautiful floral accent around the outside of a flat embossed heart center.

This would also be beautiful colored with your favorite pens, markers, or watercolors.

The second embossed image has a floral heart in the center with a diamond tuck and roll pattern for the background.  I LOVE this one so much,

Spellbinders December 2023 Clubs – Small Die of the Month

This Small Die of the Month Club kit is so adorable and so fun to create the images with.

Once I cut out the umbrella, I placed it inside the Tiled Hearts Embossing Folder and ran it through the Platinum 6 to emboss it.

Next, I ink blended with the same pink inks as above.

Then, as this image reminds me of Paris, I die cut the fellow in black and grey, and the gal in white to keep with my color choices for this month.

Finally, I highlighted with a touch of gold with the umbrella outline die.  The sentiment is also from the December Clear Stamp and Die of the Month, Big Love.
