Festive Friends Die Cut Christmas Card

Welcome back friends.  Today I’m sharing a Festive Friends Die Cut Christmas Card.  This adorable die set is the October, Small Die of the Month Club kit from Spellbinders.  The little bear is so much fun, think of all the sweaters you can build for him, plus those adorable penguins wrapping him in the holiday lights.  This may be my favorite Christmas Card make so far this year.

Festive Friends Die Cut Christmas Card intro

This is another card where you can take a deep dive into your card stock scrap bin and use up a pile of those little pieces you are hording, LOL.  Then grab your stencils, or designer paper to create fun scarves and hats for the penguins, and ugly holiday sweaters for the bear.

Products used:

Festive Friends Die Set – Small Die of the Month Club

Holiday Besties – Clear Stamp and Die of the Month.

How to create the Festive Friends Die Cut Christmas Card.

Start by cutting a piece of Waterfall cardstock 4-1/4″ x 5=1/2″, place it into your splat box, and splatter with white paint to resemble snow.  Once dry, attach to a top folding A2 sized white card base, 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″.

Next,  die cut the bear and penguins and glue them all together.  Then die cut the lights from matte gold card stock, and the lights from scraps of bright colored cardstock.

Then, Wrap the lights around the bear and add the star to to the top of his head.

Putting it all together:

Finally, tear a piece of white cardstock to add as snow at the bottom of the card.  Glue down, then flip over and trim the overhang.  use the Holiday Besties Clear Stamp and Die of the Month Club Kit to stamp the sentiment and use foam squares to attach to the bottom.

Then, use Crystal Stickles to highlight the torn edge for the snow, the top of the star, and the white on the penguins Santa hat.
