Flowering Slimline

Hey cardmaking friends welcome back.  Today I have a Flowering Slimline Card to share with you.  This amazing Flowering Slimline die is from SPELLBINDERS, and it’s currently on sale over at Scrapbook.com just in case you want a few dollars off.

With a couple of trips through your Die Cutting machine, you have this beautiful leaf and floral background with a dotted border.  Perfect for adding a few layers of flowers too.  There are also two dies to cut out the center solid piece if you wish.  I left it in because it was the perfect backdrop for my sentiment dies.

I die cut the base in Spellbinders NEW Waterfall cardstock and layered it to a 7-1/4 x 8-1/4 piece of White before attaching it to a 3-1/2 x 8-1/2 slimline card base.

Next, I die cut a bunch of flowers and leaves with the new Simply Perfect Layered Blooms Dies...these are also new and quite fabulous.   I have two more cards to share with you this week created with them.  And check out the new Spellbinders card stock, there are some fabulous new colors (I have some of them linked below for you).

Once I had the bouquets built, I used the Simply Perfect Mix & Match Sentiments and cut a gold foil sentiment for the center of the card.

Finally, add a sprinkle of the new Crystal Mix Color Essentials Gems that just came out this month.
