Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Sept 2022

Hi Stamping Friends and welcome back.  It’s RELEASE Day for the HERO ARTS MY MONTHLY HERO Sept 2022 and we have a FABULOUS BLOG HOP AND GIVE AWAY FOR YOU with the Global Team joining the regular design team this month for double the inspiration.

Autumn is a whisper in the air, with hints of cooler weather, falling leaves, and rich colors. Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Sept 2022 release takes an elegant path into fall, featuring a gorgeous vase of fall blooms as the focal point for your cards and projects. There’s also a fun new element this month – rub-ons! Use them for quick and easy cards; the coordinating die in the kit perfectly cuts out the rub-on floral arrangement as well as the stamped images. Or try the rub-ons on any smooth surface. The kit is rounded out with a gorgeous new cling stamp, metallic floss and the perfect neutral cardstocks for stamping your autumn-inspired creations.

For today’s card share, I picked my favorite bundle from the Sept 2022 Add Ons for this month, the Hero Arts Artichoke Arrangement Bundle.

Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Sept 2022 – Artichoke Arrangement Bundle.

Start by using the Misti to stamp the Artichoke image onto Hammermill white cardstock using Intense Black ink.

Next, use Copics to color the image.

Greens:  YG61, YG63, YG67   Wheat:  YG91, YG95, YG97, Purple:  V06, V09, V12, Blues BG53, BG57

Then cut out with the coordinating dies.

Creating the Background:

I used Bazzill 300915 Lily Pond for the card.  If you don’t have it, just pick a green that is close to one of the colors in your art piece.

Start by cutting the card front 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.  next cut a Mat from Hero Arts Pal 3-1/2″ x 5″ then the second card front 3-3/8″ x 4-7/8″.  Attach them all together.

Next, lay the Floral Flourish stencil over the piece and use a blending brush to add Hero Arts Fog Ink over the entire surface.  It makes the card front look like felt.

Then, Attach to a Hammermill White A2 card base 4-1/4″ x 11″.

Next, Place the card back into the Misti and stamp the sentiment in the bottom left corner in Intense Black Ink.

Finally, add the art piece using foam squares to pop it up a bit.

Embellish with a bow created with the Rose Gold Metallic Floss that comes in this month’s kit.

  1. Dear Sandi –
I am bowled over by this card. First, I ADORE green and purple together (certain shades, I mean). You have NAILED IT. I even had these as my wedding colors, that’s how much I love the combo. I had lavender/sage. Your card also blew me away with that incredible stenciled background. GORGEOUS. Then, in the words of Joan Rivers, “can we talk?” about the gorgeous coloring of the artichoke bouquet? Finally, that perfect little twine bow.
WOW! You crushed it, Sandi! So good!

  2. Beautiful cards in the sneak peek as well as today’s with the artichoke stamp! Gorgeous coloring with the purples added against the beautiful bg you made! Just so lovely!
