Hey card making friends. Happy Christmas Eve. I have one more Christmas Card to share with you today, sneaking in just under the wire. It’s the Joy to You Santa Card, and don’t fall over, it’s in traditional colors! Yep I know, very strange of me, haha.
PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure.
I had a friend over for a craft day a bit ago, and she let me play with her Santa Greetings Colorized die set. He is so cute. I just love his little boots, haha. Anyway, I cut him out and glued him all together, and then he sat and sat and sat. Poor little guy. So yesterday after I finished my daily baking and cleaning, I sat down and created a card to put him on.
How to create the Joy To You Santa Card.
Start by using the Santa Greetings Colorized die set #666338 to die cut all the Santa pieces and glue them all together. I used
Tim Holtz Idea-ology KRAFT STOCK for today’s project.
Next, use the Layered Plaid Dies, #666068 to die cut the plaid background and glue that to a top folding A2 sized White card base. (4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″).
Then, use Festive Words #665575 to die cut the sentiment for the top. The sentiment across his belly is die cut from the alphabet dies that come in the Santa Greetings Colorized Die set.
He is such a jolly little fellow, I ordered the die set from Simon Says Stamps in their recent Tim Holtz sale, so I hope to make him again soon. Maybe in my favorite blue and green colors, haha.
For those who celebrate, we wish you a Very Merry Christmas. I am very grateful for your support. I get to do this, that I love because of you. You who watch my videos and leave kind comments, who shop my links, who read and comment on my blog posts. Thank You.
Ian has 4 days off, so I’m going to take 4 days off as well. This will be Bella’s first Christmas with us so we have lots of stuffies and tennis balls for her sock to spoil her and try and make her feel welcome. She is still very skittish. She has nightmares while she sleeps, and we know we have a long way to go with her, but it’s baby steps for this little girl all the way.

If you do place an order using my affiliate links (and thank you if you do) – please email me with the $$ amount before tax and shipping, and which company it was placed through, along with your mailing address and I’ll send you a hand made card as my thank you. [email protected]
The reason I ask for that specific info is the system that tracks the sales only gives us a dollar amount and company name, we do not know who made the sale.
Such a cute card Sandi! Love the plaid background and the sweet Santa! 🙂 Merry Christmas!
Thank you Amy, Merry Christmas
Sandi, I’m absolutely smitten with your Santa, especially in traditional colours that carry over into the cool plaid background and sentiments. He’s such a cutie, isn’t he! I’ll be sharing the 19 I made for my nephew’s hockey team soon.
Bella…oh, what a sweet girl. She is so blessed to have you and Ian as her parents; parents who are showering her with an abundance of love in every way possible. She’ll be thrilled to have new stuffies and balls to play with; hopefully, dreams of being in a place safe, secure and will replace the nightmares (poor sweetie). Baby steps…
Wishing you, Ian and Bella a most Merry Christmas!!
hugs~carol
