Hey cardmaking friends–welcome back! Today I’m sharing a lotus flower card featuring my current favorite pink and teal color combo. I’m continuing to explore this beautiful pairing, and this elegant die-cut design really shows just how versatile it can be. Be sure to check back later today–I have a video going live at 4:00 P.M. with another card using these same gorgeous colors.
Before we jump into the details, today’s post is part of a very special Instagram Hop celebrating my friend Nicki’s YouTube channel reaching 30K subscribers–such an incredible milestone!.
Be sure to head over to my INSTAGRAM TO JOIN THE HOP and leave a comment at each stop along the way. There’s over $400. in prizes up for grabs, so you definitely don’t want to miss it!
Alright, let’s get started on my congratulations card for Nicki–I’ll walk you through how I created it and what I used.

Products used for today’s Lotus Flower Card:
- Hero Arts Lotus Flower Die Set
- Layered Congrats Die Set from Spellbinders
- Pink Color Essential Gems from Spellbinders
- Spellbinders Cardstock: Blush, Tutu, Dahlia, Mint, Waterfall, and Teal Topaz (linked below)

How to create the Lotus Flower Card:
Create the card Base:
Trim a panel of Teal Topaz cardstock to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and adhere it to a top-folding, A2-sized white card base.
Die cut the Foliage:
Using the colored cardstock, die cut all of the lotus flowers and foliage pieces. Adhere the layered flower pieces together, then arrange them on the card front. once you’re happy with the placement, attach the larger flowers and leaves using foam squares to add dimension.
Add the Sentiment:
Die cut the Layering Congrats sentiment from Teal Topaz and white cardstock. Adhere the layers together then attach the sentiment to the bottom right corner of the card.
Embellish:
This is the perfect card to add the beautiful PINK Color Essential Gems for a touch of sparkle and shine.
