Hi card making friends thanks so much for stopping in. Today I have a Mini Slimline Rainbow Flip Flop Card to share with you as part of the Spellbinders BLOG HOP for the July Club Kits. The Small die of the month kit this month as a beach theme. This “Day at the Beach die set has tons of elements, all of which I used in the second card. BUT, the flip flops were so dang cute, I just had to give them their very own rainbow card.
There is a give away for today’s hop too, so check out all the wonderful creations and leave comments along the way for your chance to win. (info below).
I used the Glimmer of the Month kit for the background on the Flip Flop card also.
PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.
How to create the Mini Slimline Rainbow Flip Flop Card:
Start by die cutting the flip flops in a rainbow of colors. Card stock used: Beeswax, Dahlia, Peridot, Waterfall and Lilac Blossom.
Next, use the same colors and the stripes die cut from the Glimmer of the month kit to cut a set of each color, (two of the Peridot).
Use a two sided adhesive sheet to glue down all the stripes
And then, use the Precision Layering Mini Slimline Dies, 3rd from outside to cut the stripe panel.
Finally, create a white cards base 6-1/2 x 6-1/4, score and fold at 3-1/4
Attach the striped die cut piece to the center front.
Next, Cut another white panel using the 4th in Slimline Die and use foam squares to attach it to the card center.
Then, use a T Bar Ruler to glue the flip flops in a straight line across the card front and add a sentiment.

Day at the Beach Card
The second card uses all of the elements in the “Day at the Beach July Small Die of the Month set.
Start by ink blending a distress oxide ink background with Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass inks
Next, tear a piece of mirror gold cardstock to be sand at the bottom of the card.
Then, die cut all the elements. I used Dune for her body (a new color just released yesterday), black, and a patterned paper and matching pink from my stash
Die cut the clouds from the Spring Together Die set.
Finally, attach all the elements to the card front to create the scene.
