Hi card making friends and welcome back.  Today I have a new Card Making Video For you Gorgeous Peonies Hot Foiled Card.  Alex Syberia Designs has an entire bundle of Peonies products, and I’m going to play with a few of them today to create my cards.  Today’s card have a bit of an Asian flair to them.  I find they use a lot of peony images in their art, and the Glowing Geometry hot foil plate I used in the background makes me think of Asian art too.

Today’s card making video walks you step by step through the hot foiling process using these Alex Syberia Designs Hot foil plates and coordinating dies.  I create the black card in the video as it stands out better for taping purposes, and then at the end, I share the pink one as well.  Both are colored with copic markers, but if that isn’t your thing, there is a beautiful set of stencils to color these images in.

Also, if you don’t have/want a hot foiling machine, there is a stamp set as well.  AND, you can emboss the background using the GLowing Geometry Hot Foil Plate instead of foiling – so many options with these products!

Measurements for the Gorgeous Peonies Hot Foiled Card:

Card Base:  white, 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″

Card front:  Black , 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.

Foiled card front:  Black, 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, after foiling, cut down to 4″ x 5-1/4″

Peonies:  White, Hammermill (best card stock for foiling) 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ – These will be cut out with the coordinating dies

Sentiment:  Black – 2-1/2″ x 3″ – die cut after foiling
