Hey card making friends, welcome back. Today’s New CARD MAKING VIDEO – Watercolor Rose Card is created with today’s Collaborative release between Simon Says Stamp and Altenew. This stunning floral stamp set is called Rose Reverie, and I decided to do a kind of messy watercolor with it.

How to create the Watercolor Rose Hand Made Card
This is going to be a brief description as there is a detailed card making video below.
Start by Black Heat Embossing the Rose Reverie Image onto watercolor paper cut 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
Next, use the Gansai Tambi Watercolors to color in the image. For my cards I used #51, 54, 57, 139, and black.
Next, use the ink smooshing technique to add the blue and light green ink to the background of the card.
Then, splatter ink across the art piece in black, white, and blue ink.
Next, White heat emboss a sentiment onto a scrap of black cardstock.
Finally, mount the art piece to a top folding A2 sized White card base cut 4-1/4″ x 11″, score, and fold at 5-1/2.
Watercolor Rose Hand Made Card – the final touches.
start by attaching the sentiment with foam squares.
Then, embellish with Spellbinders Spectrum AB Color Essentials Gems.
Finally, use a copic marker YG03 to color in the flower centers. You could also add white gel pen dots to the centers if you wanted.

And if watercolor isn’t your thing. Here is another card I made, this time I colored the image with copic markers.
Copic Colored Rose Reverie:
Start by stamping the image in Intense Black Ink and then coloring with copic markers before cutting out.
Copics Used:
Blues: B000, B91, B93, B95 Greens: G20, G21, G24, G28 Flower Centers: YG03
Next, for the background, I white glimmer foiled the Mini Slimline Falling Confetti Hot Foil Plate onto a piece of Cosmic Sky cardstock.
Then, white heat emboss the sentiment in the bottom right corner.
Finally, use a black marker to go around the edge of the die cut piece before attaching it to the card with foam squares.
