Hi stamping friends and welcome back. Today I have a New Video – Distress Oxide Sprays Simple Backgrounds #1. I’m also using this adorable Stamp/die set from My Favorite Things called Warm & Feathered Hugs, that little owl is so fun to color….so you get a quick little copic lesson on coloring him as well.
I have a video to share below so I won’t go into too much detail, but the sprays I used for this background are:
Mermaid Lagoon, Spiced Marmalade, Fossiled Amber and Vintage Photo. I think they are absolutely FAB together and create this warm fall background for my little owl.
Once the background was dry, I white heat embossed my sentiment and snowflakes, added a white mat and attached all of that to my Gina K Designs Tranquil Teal card stock.
This is a CAS card, (clean and simple), super easy to create and can be done in 10 minutes or less once the sprayed background is dry. A tip about that: when I set up my spray mess, I cut a whole bunch of different sized watercolor paper and do a bunch at once, then I have them to use in the future without the mess.
