New Video Trick or Treating Slimline Halloween Cards

Hey cardmaking friends, Happy Weekend! Today I have Trick or Treating Slimline Halloween Cards to share with you. I hope you have been following the 7 in 7 free classes over on the Picket Fence Studios Facebook Group. The classes have been fabulous with all kinds of great techniques and ideas with this new July release. I’m adding to the classes this evening with my Trick or Treating Slimline Halloween Cards. There is a link at the end of this post for you to join the group and the classes.

I was asked to play with the Slim Line Die cutting System, and inserts. Well ok, I hate those, haha….kidding, I use them more than anything else in my studio!. They Rock.

I combined them with the Halloween portion of the Picket Fence Studios July release for some hauntingly fun cards.

Trick or Treating Slimline Shaker Card:

In the video I walk you through the creating of this Slimline Shaker card with the Witch die cut insert at the top, isn’t it fun.

Slimline Card with Die insert:

Near the end of the video I share a few options for changing out the witch and inserting other fun die cuts. I also add the goblin from my favorite new stamp set Not Scared? You Should be. and I covered the background with the repeat stamp Marching Spiders. Perfect for Halloween.

Slimline Halloween with Graveyard Cover Plate overlay

Finally, instead of an insert, use the Graveyard Cover Plate die as an overlay to create some spooky fun.

Of course you could take all of these ideas and change them out with different themes as Picket Fence Studios has a very nice selection of these Die Cutting Inserts for Slimline Cards.
