I have something fun to share with you today. I was asked to join the Picket Fence Studios Design Team, and of course I said yes as I love their products. I’m so excited to be sharing my very first Picket Fence Studios February Release post as a new member.

Card #2

Die cut the NEW Seriously Word Die out of it before mounting it to a A2 card base.
Create another base with the colored strips.
Next, die cut a white center piece to attach the previously cut “SERIOUSLY ” onto.
Both of the black sentiments on the cards are from another new Sentiment Stamp Set Ways to Express Yourself.
The black leaf is from the Maple Leaf Dies,
Picket Fence Studios February Release Card #4
In the February release, there is a new mini stamp set called “Life Sucks Without You“. I think we can all relate to this one, so I had some fun with it.
I started with the new Slim line Die System to cut the card front and the circles.
Next use the NEW Slim Line English Brick Wall Stencil and Distress Oxide Ink in Hickory Smoke and Vintage Photo to create the background.
Cut out the circles and then add the back panel in watercolor paper, smooshed with Tumbled Glass ink
Use the Misti to stamp the sentiments. The bottom sentiment is heat embossed onto a scrap of the blue card stock.
After attaching all this to a brown mat and then the blue card base, add the little birds from the SONGBIRDS stamp and die set.
This card started with a Smooshed background in Dried Marigold Distress Oxide Ink.
Used the new 6 x 6 English Brick Wall stencil and more of the same ink and add another layer over the smooshing.
Stamp and cut out the Wild Rose flower image in Black and White, lining up the edges and cut it into two pieces.
Use the NEW Fancy Congratulations Sentiment Stamp set and gold heat emboss it on a piece of vellum and slip into place before adding the floral images.
Finally, a sprinkling of the Screwdriver Sequin Mix.
Final cards are created with the New Nothing Short Of Amazing Stamp Set.
Start by heat embossing the Nothing Short of Amazing image in black.
Next, smoosh the background with Wild Honey and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks.
Add a bit of Gold Splatter for some additional bling.
For the second card, Heat emboss the image again in black.
Overlay the new 6 x 6 Center Flower Stencil and use a blending brush to add Wild Honey and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink to the background
The sentiment for this card came from the Ways to Express Yourself stamp set, also new this month.
Hope you enjoyed my card shares today and be sure to head over to the Picket Fence Studios site to see the entire February release
