Picket Fence Studios Flower Wreath Card

Hello card making friends.  I hope you’re having a great weekend and getting some rest and some creating in.  Today I have a Picket Fence Studios Flower Wreath Card to share with you.

The Beautiful Girls Flower Wreath Stamp Set is part of the new release from this past week and it’s just stunning.  I have another  card for you tomorrow using just the butterfly in the set as well.

 

 

The Building Process for Picket Fence Studios Flower Wreath Card:

Do a loose watercolor after  stamping and heat embossed the image in black onto watercolor paper.

Use any watercolor medium you wish, I used my Gansai Tambi Watercolors.

The colors are blended outside the wreath on purpose  resulting in a pretty background wash surrounding the wreath.

The Finishing Touches:

Likewise, the NEW Fancy Daily Sentiments with the coordinating die set, makes it super fast and easy to add beautiful sentiments.

This sentiment is stamped in VersaFine Clair Monarch to match the purple in the wreath.

Finally, to allow the wreath to really shine, this is a 5 x 7″ side folding card.

Embellishments:

Once the painting was finished and dry,  splatter the front with the colors used to paint and some gold before adding a generous sprinkle of the NEW Reflections Gem Mix.

This new Gem Mix is stunning with lots of pinks, yellows, blues and greens and perfect for this card.
