Whoo Hoo crafty friends, it’s Picket Fence Studios June Release day. I have a bunch of new products and cards to share with you.
The entire release goes live today and my projects are just a small sprinkling of all the fabulous new products available. I have listed the entire release at the end of the post for you.
Listen to Joy Card.
Lots going on in this card. First up, it’s a 5 x 7 top folding card and the front is color blocked with cardstock.
Next, white heat embossed this fabulous NEW “Listen to Joy” tree trio onto the center.
Finally, over this, add the NEW WORD TOPPER DIE – This is a Paper Hug (there are a bunch of these in the release).
What I love about them, is the strip underneath is big enough to add a second sentiment. For this one, I took the sentiment from Listen for Joy and white heat embossed it.
That’s it, a quick and easy card, with bold color blocks and a beautiful sentiment.
Froggy Pond Party Card:
Quite possibly my favorite of the new stamp sets, the “Drop by to Say Croak” stamp set is full of sun bathing froggies.
To start this slimline card die cut the card front with the Slim Line Nested Rectangles Dies to get that sweet stitched border.
Next, ink blend the background with the NEW Slim Line Lily Pad Stencil in Mermaid Lagoon and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks
Leave a clear spot through the center to add the New die cut Cattails Die – I LOVE this new die, and yes I painted them pink!…haha
Finally, stamp and color all the little froggies and die cut them out with the coordinating Drop by to Say Croak Dies.
Pop the background into the Misti Stampin Tool and stamp the sentiment and a few of the flies to the background.
Attach the card front to the card base and add all the little froggies with foam squares to add a bit of depth to the card.
I’ll Always Pick You watercolor card:
This is another 5 x 7 card with the beautiful bike image from the New “I’ll Always Pick You” stamp set.
I did a light wash in the background before stamping the image and water coloring it.
I love the torn edge on this one, adding to the vintage appeal of the card
Some Jute thread and NEW City of Lights Sequin Mix complete the simple embellishments.

Your colorful and well planed images are great. These old white trees surrounded by these colorful background make them alive, while (Grenouilles vertes) the green frogs are happy in their pond with these purple cattails wall and all these critters and then turn around with this old style bicycle and this basket full of littles colorful flowers. A beautifull story and magic with your work. I laugh when I saw your frogs.
