Simon Says Stamp I Like Small Dots

Hey cardmaking friends welcome back. Today I have Simon Says Stamp I Like Small Dots cards for you…..I had so much fun playing with the new Simon Says Stamp “I like Small Dots” stencil, I kept right on going, so here are two more cards.

This is a new stencil from the NEW All the FEELS release that Simon Says Stamp just posted yesterday.

These are super simple and qualify for my 10 minute to Wow series. I also like how bright and cheery they are, you know me and bright ink.

I used the same Distress Oxide Ink Pads on both cards: Fossilized Amber, Wilted Violet, Mowed Lawn, Broken China and Worn Lipstick.

Both cards are A2 sized, 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.

For the first card, I die cut the card front with the Stitched Rectangle Wafer Dies.

Next, I secured it to my work surface and added the stencil over top.

Then, I blended all 5 of the colors in with a blending brush.

While that piece was drying, I die cut the sentiment in black and white. This one is from Simon Says Stamp’s last release and it’s called “You are simply the best”. (you could have guessed that right? haha).

For a little depth in the card, attach the card front and the sentiment with foam squares.

Simon Says Stamp I Like Small Dots – Card #2

For the second card, I didn’t die cut the card front but left it at the full 4-1/4 x 5-1/2″.

I attached it to my work surface and blended the same colors in the same places over the card front.

To get rid of the white background, I removed the stencil, and without adding more ink to the brushes, added more blending. It fills in the white, but the dots still pop.

Finally, I die cut the same sentiment three times in white card and glued them together before attaching to my card.

I also die cut the Simon Says Stamp Peeking Daisy 4 times, cut it out of the frame and attached them to the card. Then I added some Pinkfresh jewels to the center of each
