Hi cardmaking friends hope you are having a great week. Today I have Simon Says Stamp Floral Garden slimline Cards to share with you.
Simon Says Stamp has a NEW “All the Feels” release today and this beautiful (and huge) Floral Garden Stamp could be the star of the show. (although I did find a bunch of other items to fall in love with too, haha). I have the entire release listed at the end of this post for you.
This stamp is so big, I managed to make two SLIMLINE CARDS with it. I put it into my Misti and stamped one side at a time then used the Simon Says Stamp Slimline Marquee Dies to cut them out for some added border interest on my design.
I colored the image with copic Markers. Next, I stamped the image again on Mask paper, cut the flowers and large leaves out and covered them.
I added the New “I Like Small Dots” stencil over the piece and blended Distress Oxide Inks through the stencil in Squeezed Lemonade and just a bit of Broken China. This added a pretty background for my art piece and mirrors the dotted border.
Copic Colors used for the Simon Says Stamp Floral Garden Slimline Cards:
Pinks: RV19, RV14, RV13, RV10
Purples: V17, V15, V12
Yellows: Y19, Y15, Y11, Y11
Greens: YG17, YG23, YG21
Grays: C2, C1, C00
Finally, to finish off the card, I matted the art piece with a piece of Simon Says Stamp Cotton Candy Pink 3-1/2 x 8-1/2 and attached both to a Side Folding White Slimline Card Base.
The Slimline Card Base is made with Simon Says Stamp Ultra Thick White cardstock and cut at 7-1/2 x 8-3/4, scored and folded at 3-3/4.
There are three sentiments in this stamp set and I white heat embossed them on a scrap of black card, trimmed them and attached with foam squares.
To embellish, I used a few pink jewels from Pinkfresh Essentials Jewels Mix.
