Sledding Gnomes Christmas Card

Good evening card making friends.  Next up on the Collab list from Simon Says STAMPtember,  it’s Trinity Stamps with their Sledding Gnomes so I created a Sledding Gnomes Christmas card with it.  It was so fun, some simple copic coloring, a ink blended/stenciled background and a snow bank.  Those will be arriving here any day, LOL.

Sledding Gnomes Christmas Card

This stamp set is an absolute gem to color, so fun.  The images are quite small so they all work up very quickly.  You might want to consider the stamp/die combo on this one to quickly cut out your images.  I had to fussy cut mine, and I wasn’t in the mood, haha. – Sorry, Stamptember is over so this stamp set is no longer available.

How to create the Sledding Gnomes Christmas Card:

Start with a Hammermill white card base 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ score and fold at 4-1/4″.

Next, cut another Hammermill panel for the card front, 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Ink blend Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Inks over it.  Then, lay down the Peace, Joy, Hope ,Love stencil and add more Peacock Feather Ink through it.

Then, use some acrylic white paint to add splatter to resemble snow and set aside to dry.

Finally, use the Stitched Slopes and Hills dies to cut out the sled hill from Hammermill white cardstock.  Attach it over the ink blended card front and trim off any excess.

  1. There’s ‘snome’ doubt about it: your card is absolutely adorable! The gnomes and deer are cuties for sure – and how pretty the sky with the stenciled words. Bright, cheerful and all-around delightful!
