Happy Monday card making friends.  Up today I have Spellbinders Arched A2 and Slimline Cards to share with you.

May not only brings spring it also brings new Kits from Spellbinders and I’m creating today with the Small Die of the Month kit – Arched A2 and Slimline Card Creator and the beautiful Clear Stamp of the Month – Borders & Sentiments.

The Spellbinders Small Die of the Month – Arched A2 and Slimline Card Creator is a set of 5 dies that fit together to create a beautiful die cut card front for your A2 sized cards.  The circle piece in the center also has an outline die so that you can replace it with a sentiment.

Instructions for the Spellbinders Arched A2 card:

Create an A2 card front from Spellbinders waterfall card stock (4-1/4 x 5-1/2″).

Next, cut the four outline dies from white cardstock and attach to the card front with Bearly white glue.  The precision tip is perfect for attaching these die cuts.

Gold heat emboss the sentiment and use the round die to cut it out and attach with foam squares in the circle

Finally, cut a selection of foliage and florals with the Spellbinders Simply Perfect Layered Blooms and attach them around the sentiment.

To embellish, add a sprinkle of the Spellbinders Color Essentials Gems Gold Mix – these are fabulous, I wish they came in bigger packages, so order lots, LOL

Spellbinders Arched A2 & Slimline Cards – Slimline Card Instructions

For the Slimline card start by cutting two of the arches in white and two in waterfall.  Stack the blue over white and then attach them to a slimline card base measuring 3-3/4 x 8-1/2″

Again, gold heat emboss another sentiment from the Borders & Sentiments stamp set and use foam squares to attach it to the center of the card

Similarly, add foliage and florals cut with the Simply Perfect Layered Blooms

Finally, add a large gold essentials gem to the center of each of the pink flowers.

Decorate the inside of your cards too:

When Die cutting the florals, I like to cut a few extra, this time I’m using them to decorate the inside of my Slimline Card.
