Spellbinders Aug 2022 Small Die of the Month

Hi there, welcome back.  Today I’m sharing a Spellbinders Aug 2022 Small Die of the Month card.  This new die set is pretty sweet.  There are dies to cut out the flowers and leaves sprinkled around the card, as well as a fabulous new sentiment die set.  The dies have a new font and create 6 interchangeable words.  You will have no problem creating many different cards with this one set.

I also coupled it with the Intertwined Lattice Embossing Folder of the month because I just can’t quit using it.  It’s one of the new larger 5.5 x 8.5 dies so you can use it for any size card front.

The dies cut beautifully making this card very quick and easy to put together.

How to create the Spellbinders Aug 2022 Small Die of the month card:

First cut a piece of black card stock 4 x 5-1/4 and place it inside the embossing folder.  Run it through the die cutting machine and then attach it to the top folding A2 sized black card base.

Next, die cut all the flowers and leaves.  Spellbinders cardstock used:  Dahlia, Persimmon, Rainforest, Black and Mirror gold.

Then use the fine tip on the Bearly art glue to glue all the pieces together.

Finally, glue them all around the outside edge of the card.

Adding the Sentiment.

The sentiment dies are two pieces.  Cut the thin inside layer in black and the shadow in gold mirror

Next, use the fine tip on the Bearly Art glue to glue them together.

Finally, use small pieces of foam squares to mount them to the center of the card

Embellish with black rhinestones in the flower centers.
