Hey friends, welcome back to my card making blog. Today I’m playing with Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms and Precision Layered Mini Slimline Dies. Both of these items are new in the shop at Spellbinders this month and they are great fun to create with.
The Mini Precision Layered Mini Slimline Dies have two sets, an A and B. Using them both together and stacking the dies gives you the “eyeliner matt” look. Super skinny layers peaking out from behind one another. It’s a fabulous look but sometimes hard to layer exactly right. I chose to use just the A set today and used three of the Spellbinders Pinks for a gradient look for my mat. Either way, using these dies makes creating matts for your slimline cards so fast and easy with beautiful finished edges. They also come in A2 Size Precision Layered Dies
Cardstock used: Pink Sand, Dahlia, Wild Berry.
To decorate my pretty mini slimline cards I used the same cardstock and the Be Bold Blooms Die set. With all the different dies in this set it was hard to decide what florals to create, but I did narrow it down, haha. Plus I think I have enough extra cut for at least 10 more cards, LOL.

Creating the Spellbinders Bold Blooms Card:
Cut a white card base 6-1/2 x 6-1/4, score the 6-1/2 side at 3-1/4 fold and burnish
Use the Precision Layered Mini Slimline A set of dies to cut the mats from the pink card stock, stack and attach together.
Use the 4th from largest die to cut the card front from white and emboss it with the Slimline Flora Embossing Folder – then attach to the top of the stack of mats.
Next, die cut all the floral images and stack and glue them together.
Use foam squares to attach them to the card front.
Adding the Sentiment:
Use the new Smooth Lines Mix and Match sentiment dies to die cut the sentiment. I cut this one three times, once from Wild Berry and twice from Dahlia, stacked them and then glued them to the card front.
Finally, embellish with the fabulous new PINK Color Essential Gems.

So pretty! The color scheme reminds me of strawberries. So Spring ready! 💜
that’s funny because that was what I was going for, as one of the clumps of die cuts looks like strawberry buds
