HI card making friends and welcome back. Today’s card share is the Spellbinders December Glimmer Kit of the Month. It’s another beautiful kit this month with a Valentine’s Day theme and I decided to continue with my Pink Ombre background as I’m loving this color combo. It’s just so soft and pretty. Add to that some fabulous Gold Glimmer Foil and Gold gems and you have the perfect combo.

For the Ombre look, I used Distress Oxide Inks in Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Worn Lipstick blending on a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Hammermill White card stock. It’s been my color scheme for this month, with the exception of the Large Die of the Month kit, link below.

How to create the Spellbinders December Glimmer Kit of the Month Card:

Start by creating the ombre card front. Once the ink is dry, place it into the Glimmer Foil Machine and gold glimmer the outline heart.

Next, glue the card front to a top folding A2 sized white card base.

Next, gold glimmer foil the scalloped heart and the wavy sentiment onto white cardstock..

Then, ink blend a small 4 x 4 piece of white cardstock with the Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink. Heat Set it to dry the ink and then gold glimmer for the small solid heart onto it.

Finally, use the coordinating dies to cut out the hearts and then use foam squares to layer them to the center of the card.

Adding the Sentiment and Embellishments:

Start by using the coordinating die to cut out the sentiment and center it across the gold heart.

Next, with left over scraps from the ombre, and the small flower and leaf dies from the Small Die of the Month kit, die cut 4 flowers and 6 leaves.

Then, layer them and attach them to the card as shown in the image.

Finally, embellish with Gold Gems.
