Spellbinders Floral Spray Die Cut Cards

Hey card making friends, happy weekend.  Today I’m sharing Spellbinders Floral Spray Die Cut Cards.  I have 4 cards to share with you showcasing a variety of styles using these beautiful dies.

The Rosies Studio Bayfair Collection is new to Spellbinders and the suite contains this lovely Floral Spray Die Set, a Nested Postage Labels & Tags Die Set, puffy stickers, buttons and more.  It also has a coordinating Rosies Studio – Bayfair x 6 x Designer Paper pad which I am using in a couple of today’s cards.  I am totally smitten with the Nested Postage Labels & Tags Die Set.  Great for cards and scrapbook pages.

Spellbinders Floral Spray Die Cut Cards Card #1

Start with a White A2 sized card base 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″.

Next, using the stitched border dies, included in the Nested Postage Labels & Tags Die set, cut a smaller white card front.  Then, a next size smaller piece of the designer paper.  Over the bottom of the designer paper, add three more strips of different designs and then add the Celebrate sticker.  attach this all to the card front.

Then, die cut the flowers and leaves from Pink Sand and Dahlia cardstock for the flowers and I used a darker green from Bazzill for the leaves to coordinate with the shade of green in the designer paper.  Layer the flowers and add to the top portion of the card with foam squares.

Finally, embellish with Gold Essential Gems.

Spellbinders Floral Spray Die Cut Cards Card #2

Card #2 is build exactly the same as card #1 except the designer paper is vertical down the left side.

For the card front, I used the largest of the Postage dies to create that sweet scalloped edge.

Spellbinders Floral Spray Die Cut Cards Card #3

Card #3 us turned to landscape, so the card base is white, A2 sized, 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score and fold at 4-1/4″

Next, over that, a piece of Waterfall cardstock 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ embossed with the Meandering Floral Embossing Folder.

Then, I die cut the medium sized flower numerous times in Waterfall and White Cardstock.  Ink Blended with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink and covered the entire front of the card.

Finally, die cut a white and gold hello sentiment using the Anemone Blooms Wonderful Script Sentiments Die Set.  Embellish with Gold Essential Gems.

hand made 4th of July card in red white and blue with a blue die cut background and red white and blue flowers, created with card making dies from Spellbinders

and one for the Fourth of July

I needed a card for the upcoming 4th, and decided this die set was absolutely perfect for the traditional Red, White and Blue card

Start with a top folding A2 sized white card base, as in card #1.  Then used the largest stitched die edge to cut some blue designer paper.

Next, step down to the next Postage Stamp Die in white for the card front.

Then, die cut a pile of flowers and leaves layering the red white and blue cardstock.  There is a multi circle die in the set for flower centers and I used the small remaining ones for the confetti around the card.  The sentiment is from Stylish Oval Birthday wishes.

That’s it for today’s share, I hope I gave you a few ideas of different ways to use these pretty dies.
