Hi card making friends and welcome back.  Happy Thursday to you.  Today I’m sharing a card created with the Spellbinders Jan 2023 Small Die of the Month. Sentimental Ampersand.  I have always love a Ampersand, they are such a cool shape, we have a big black wood one in our dining room as part of our decor.  So when I opened this die set, I was excited to see it.  Along with the Ampersand (it’s even such a cool word), there are dies to cut the florals and a pile of sentiments too.  You will have no problem making an entire card with this die set.

And sorry this post is late today.  I don’t do resolutions, but my goal for 2023 is to do more videos.  I got working on this video bright and early yesterday morning but the computer gods were not with me.  After we painted my craft studio and put everything back together, something was amiss with my video computer and it was many hours before it was rectified.  By then, I was quite snarky, so I delayed the voice over until this morning to save you from that, haha.

How to create the Spellbinders Jan 2023 Small Die of the Month Card:

Start by embossing the 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ card front with the Stylized Trellis Embossing Folder and then attaching it to the front of a top folding White A2 sized card base.

Next, die cut the Ampersand and the birthday sentiments from Gold card stock.

Then, using the smaller floral dies, cut a selection of flowers and leaves and decorate around the Ampersand.

Card 2 is identical to card #1 with the exception of the background.

Use the New 3D Embossing Folder Club Floral Archways as the card front.
