Hi card makers and welcome back. It’s the 6th of the month and that means subscriptions are OPEN for the Spellbinders Jan 2024 Clubs of the Month kits. I have been busy working with these amazing kits and have a pile of cards to share with you today. I didn’t get the Stitched Club finished yet, so that will be along shortly. WARNING – HEAVY PHOTO POST.

This month’s clubs have a definite BEE-utiful theme, LOL and I had a lot of fun with it. I’ve got a ton to share with you so let’s jump in.
Spellbinders Jan 2024 Clubs – Small Die of the Month.
This Small Die of the Month Club Kit is a beautiful set of floral dies that create the prettiest layout.
Start by die cutting the florals from your favorite colored cardstock and ink blend with Distress Oxide Inks. I used Waterfall and Mint, and ink blended with Peacock Feathers and Evergreen Bough.
Next, cut a piece of white cardstock 4 x 5-1/4, emboss it with the 3D embossing folder of the month, Efflorescent Floral. Attach it to a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of waterfall and then to a top folding A2 sized white card base.
Finally, add the florals with foam squares to add dimension. Gold emboss the sentiment and color the bees from the Clear Stamp and Die Set of the month Just Bee-cause.
For the second card, I used a single flower and the bud stem.
Next, emboss the white background piece with the Embossing Club Branching Out folder. Put the card together as above.
Spellbinders Jan 2024 Clubs – Large Die of the Month.
This Large Die of the Month Club is my favorite for this month as I absolutely adore making uniquely shaped cards. You of course can just add the image to a regular card base as well.
Start by cutting out two bases, and taping the top together to create a free standing card
Next, die cut all the pieces, ink blend them to add depth and dimension, and glue them to the front of the card.
NOTE: The HONEY DIPPER – is a bonus when you sign up for the Deluxe Caboodle Value Club.
Spellbinders Jan 2024 Clubs – Glimmer of the Month and Stencil of the Month.
This is a simple very straight forward card combing the Glimmer of the Month Club and the coordinating Stencil of the Month Club.
Start by glimmer hot foiling the floral onto white cardstock using Polished Brass Foil.
Next, use the Stencil Club to add color to the image. I used Altenew Inks on this one, the Red Cosmos Mini Cubes, Green Fields and Sweet Dreams
Then, mat it in waterfall cardstock.
Finally, use the Serenade Sentiments Die set and scraps of black and gold cardstock to add the birthday sentiment.
Spellbinders Jan 2024 Clubs – Clear Stamp and Die Set
STUNNING stamp set especially for your gardening friends. Also, very fun to color and doesn’t take long because the images are small.
NOTE, there is also a die to cut out the corner floral stems if you want to piece together a bouquet.
Start by using a Misti to stamp the image at the top and bottom of a 4″ x 4-1/4″ piece of white cardstock.
Next, color the images with your favorite medium. I used copics:
Teal: BG11, 13, 49, Green: G21, 24, 28, Purple: V12, 15, Yellow: Y11, 15, 19
Then, use the Notched Corner Frame die to cut out the center. Attach it to a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Waterfall. Place it back into the Misti and stamp the sentiment in the center.
Finally, attach it to a top folding A2 sized card base. Then, again, using the Notched Corner Frame die, and one larger, cut out a frame and attach it around the cut out in the center of the card.
Spellbinders Jan 2024 Clubs – BetterPress
Start by pressing the image twice, at the top and bottom of a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of BetterPress White cardstock.
Next, color the image with Karen Brushmarker Pro markers: #281, 168, 220, 166 and 264. I did them in these colors to look like Icelandic Poppies that my mom used to grow in her garden.
Then, add a light blue wash to the background before attaching it to a A2 sized top folding white card base, with a black card front attached.
Finally, embellish with Spellbinders Color Essentials Teal Opalescent sequins.
Phew – that was a workout. If you made it to here, thank you for reading this very long post, LOL
